In December 2009 in Copenhagen (Denmark) the world’s governments will meet for what may be the last chance to agree on joint global actions to cut greenhouse gases, to prevent runaway global warming. This is being called ‘the most important meeting in history’. Millions of people are pressing their governments to do more – and to agree the best policies at Copenhagen, even if some powerful oil, bio‐fuel and aviation businesses oppose this.
