+This lecture is open to all and discusses the legacy left by Norfolk-born Thomas Paine.
+This year's lecture commemorates 200 years since Thomas Paine's death. It will be celebrating Paine's life and the ways in which his views have influenced the "rights of man" in today's world.
+During a varied career, Tariq Ali has been a novelist, historian, screenwriter, political campaigner, social commentator and regular writer for The Guardian. He is a long-standing editor of the New Left Review and a political commentator published on every continent.
