====BBFC – British Board of Film Classification====

The BBFC will be giving a unique look into the world of film classification from John Wagland (ex game designer and now BBFC examiner).  John will use various clips to illustrate and contextualise the decision making procedure and demystify this essential process.
 +

The BBFC is a highly expert and experienced regulator of moving image (especially film, video/DVD and video games), and also a service provider for new and developing media.  As an independent, self-financing regulator, they have a passion for moving images and balance their duty to protect the public with a respect for the right to freedom of expression.  More information about the BBFC can be found via their website www.bbfc.co.uk
