Thursday, 8 April '''Resilience Plan''' meeting, 19:30, White Lion pub 73 Oak Street NR3 3AQ.

The Resilience Plan is what is called an energy descent action plan in the wider Transition community, but which we call resilience plan because it's not just about energy descent (i.e. peak oil). The group has been meeting for several months, so if you haven't been to previous meetings and want to get involved it would be good to have a meeting with one of the "regulars" beforehand, so that we can bring you up to speed. Monday, 12 April, '''Heart and Soul Meeting''' on Inner Resilience, 19:00-21:30, Upstairs at The Bicycle Shop, St Benedicit's Street
 +
How do you maintain inner stability in times of external change? What does it take to switch from consumer based values to more sustainable ones? What does it take to keep motivated? How do you handle it when the 'why bother?' surfaces? These are the sorts of questions we will be considering together - sharing and learning form each other. A facilitative listening space, rather than a teaching session - all input welcome. Contact: Naomi at trust@mangreen.co.uk

Saturday, 17 April, '''Compassionate Communications Workshop''', 10:00-16:00,Alexander Room at the United Reform Church, Princess Street, Norwich
 +
Workshop led by facilitator in Compassionate (Non-Violent) Communications, Des Moss. Experiential, participatory activities focusing on difficulties/conflicts that may arise in groups/meetings, especially when we feel strongly. This introduction is for anyone who wants what they say to be heard and understood more fully. It will focus on ways that are most likely to connect us with other people, and what may lead others to disengage from us. We explore the power of active listening and empathy to connect us with others, and the importance of making clear requests.  Open to anyone who is interested. The workshop is offered in a not-for-profit spirit. Contributions requested of £5 - £10. Bring and share lunch. Drinks provided.
