The World Development Movement (WDM) is launching a new group

in Norwich with a screening of 'The Corporation', an inspiring

film exploring the rise of globalization and the fight against

corporate power, on Wednesday 20 May at 7pm at Take Five in

Tombland. Entry is free and there is a bar available.

A film by Juliano Mer Khamis will be shown in the Playroom at the Norwich Playhouse.

The film tells the story of a Palestinian theatre group that was established by Arna Mer Khamis in Jenin.

This film is showing to accompany an exhibition of photos taken by the children of the Freedom Theatre from Jenin, Palestine .

Union of UEA Students Screening of The Age of Stupid

After sell out showings at Cinema City the Union of UEA Students has

organised an Indie screening of this years must see climate change film;

The Age of Stupid. The showing kicks of on UEA campus at 6pm in Lecture

Theatre 2 on Friday 29th of May and will hopefully be followed by a

question and answer session or panel debate on the issues raised by the
 +
film. Tickets will be £1 for students and £2 for non-students available on

the door.
