Norwich Pride is being coordinated by a collection of volunteers. Our vision is of a central, free, inclusive event in the centre of Norwich on the Saturday with a whole range of other activities and celebrations organised by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) and LGBT-friendly businesses and groups across Norwich all over the weekend - we've already got people signing up to run comedy, music events, tea parties, sport events, ballroom dancing and fly rainbow flags all over the city. We already have over 225 members in a Facebook group and the webpage is currently at http://www.norwichpride.moonfruit.co.uk but will soon be moving to http://www.norwichpride2009.co.uk

In order for this event to be a success, we are undertaking a survey to get views from the community about what kind of event people want. This can be printed, completed anonymously and returned in the post to the address at the end of the survey.
