==Public Meeting: Libya and the Arab Spring, Thu Oct 6th, 7pm. UEA, Arts, Room 01.01==
 +
Speaker: Judith Orr (National Officer, Stop the War Coalition).
 +

 +
The Stop the War Coalition supports the popular uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa but
 +
is the struggle in Libya now fundamentally different from the revolutions in
 +
Tunesia and Egypt? Should Western intervention be welcomed or has imperialist intervention
 +
been the problem in this area, propping up autocratic regimes?
 +

 +
Judith was in Tahrir Square during the initial protests. Hear and question her on these
 +
histroric events.
 +

 +
Free event. All welcome
