~~We are looking for volunteers to help with publicity against the cuts at Norwich Pride this Saturday: The Forum, 30th July, 09.00 to 17.00.~~

If we defeat the cuts we help build a more progressive society with community support and acceptance of diversity. To the extent that cuts are implemented, society becomes more divided and susceptible to prejudice and discrimination.

~~At Pride there will be many progressive people, supportive of the campaign against the cuts.~~

~~If you are free for any of the time please come to the PCS stall in The Forum.~~

==DALE FARM SOLIDARITY - First they came for the Gypsies==

The date for eviction looms heavy. Dale Farm family homes are liable to bulldozing from midnight on 31st August. Dale Farm residents are devastated. Meantime, Saturday activity days at Dale Farm are growing in strength each week. Supporters from across the UK are visiting Dale Farm each Saturday, spending time with residents, taking part in legal observer training sessions, helping with practical logistics for the site, meeting with experts from Essex University Human Rights Clinic, and joining a growing network of committed solidarity workers preparing for resistance through civil disobedience. There’s a huge amount of work to be done, but each week brings new faces, ingenuity, thoughtfulness, energy, and hope.

3. Dale Farm Solidarity Demo – demo callout, Saturday, 10th Sept:

Norfolk Quakers invite everyone to join an open air Quaker Meeting, at the Feet of Sir Thomas Browne (Hay Hill next to Peter Mancroft) 11-30 till noon.

This is a reflective event, starting with silence, where anyone who feels moved to is welcome to speak.

CND invites us all to gather at the Peace Pillar in Chapelfield Garden onat 3pm to lay some flowers

==Harlequin Fayre, 12th to 14th August==

Harlequin Fayre (previously known as Green Man Fayre) is billed as a mini green gathering at a secret site near Norwich in East Anglia. The event expands to a four day event running from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th August 2011 on a farm in Suffolk with camping for a limited number of people.

~~Early bird tickets are no longer available.~~ An adult weekend ticket is priced at £60, a teen (aged 13-17 years) ticket is priced at £19, a child (aged 0-12 years) is priced at £8, a car pass is £8, and a campervan pass is priced at £20, and a caravan pass £12. Harlequin Fayre will remain an 'advance ticket only' event and it is expected to sell out so please book your tickets in good time. To buy tickets click here.

There is a good amount of activities for children of all ages, in a dedicated kids area which will be bigger and very central and the new site allows for the Healing Area to occupy it's own wooded glade.
