The CCN are running free workshops on the 12th & 13th February 2011 for individuals and groups who want to set up their own Community Composting Scheme. The first of these will be on an existing CCN members Community Composting site and will be very hands on and focussed on the process of composting at a larger scale than home composting. The second day will focus more on getting set up, with sessions on community involvement and site management. | The CCN are running free workshops on the 12th & 13th February 2011 for individuals and groups who want to set up their own Community Composting Scheme. Nicole Foss gave a gripping presentation to the Transition Network Conference last year and we are excited that she has agreed to come to Norwich to help us understand the challenges of climate change, economic recession, rising fuel and house prices. Under the pseudonym Stoneleigh, she is co-editor of the blog,The Automatic Earth. which has been chronicling and interpreting the on-going credit crunch and the economic climate that has allowed it to happen. She brings together finance, energy, environment, psychology, population and real politik in order to explain why we find ourselves in a state of crisis and what we can do about it." | Nicole Foss gave a gripping presentation to the Transition Network Conference last year and we are excited that she has agreed to come to Norwich to help us understand the challenges of climate change, economic recession, rising fuel and house prices.
