==10th November 2010 at 7.30pm, ‘Dragons’ Den with a Twist’ fundraising spectacular== with Look East presenter Stewart White at Dragons’ Den in Norwich which we are putting on at the Assembly Rooms in Norwich during this year’s National Ethical Investment Week.

At a time when many people are seriously concerned about investing in the market, we have taken the initiative to bring together four of the major investment alternatives which will come under close scrutiny in front of a live audience.

Four fund managers will be pitching for your investment. The investment alternatives will be:

 Triodos Bank will seek to persuade you that they are the way forward with their Renewables Fund, click here for more

Each of the fund managers will be interrogated in true Dragons’ Den style by a panel of experts, and you, as a member of the audience, will have the opportunity to talk to the fund managers and guest presenters individually during a wine and nibbles break.

As a member of the audience, you will be given 10,000 ie pounds to invest in the fund or funds of your choice, and the fund that gathers the largest investment will be given the honorary title of “Dragons’ Den Ethical Fund of the Year 2010”

The evening is being held to support our chosen charity, The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture – and all proceeds will be donated to this vital and important organisation. http://www.torturecare.org.uk/. Designed by Cambridge Carbon Footprint, it engages people both emotionally and practically and was recently featured in the Guardian as one of the 20 best Climate Change solutions. Most members reduce their CO2 emissions by 1 tonne during the course and develop plans to have their footprints over a longer period.

==Zero Carbon Concert, Saturday the 27th November, 8.00 pm, St. Thomas Church Hall==

The zero carbon concert shall raise awareness of the need for Britain and the world to move to a zero

carbon society as soon as possible.

It will feature Vic Salter, Pedalo, Ruth Gordon and Jimmy and the Magic Shoe. It will be acoustic so that it causes no carbon dioxide emissions.
