This is the story of a utopia that is within reach, where the major religions co-exist as they did in Arab-ruled Andalusia in the Middle Ages. Seville has since become the home of this unique orchestra, and it was there that the bold idea of giving a concert in the Middle East, in Ramallah, was born.  Organised by Norfolk Jewish Peace Group and Hazel Marsh

The event is supported by the North Norfolk District Council the EcoTeams event is free and open to all. Its purpose: to train individuals to then go on and help instruct and share knowledge with community groups and others to help them reduce their environmental impact in a fun, educational and celebratory way.

To attend either event you need to register online www.ecoteams.org.uk/partner/northnorfolk and click on the ‘Events’ button on the left side of the screen. Scroll down and press ‘SIGN-UP’ next to North Norfolk OR call Phil Moore 0207 420 4436. Registration closes at 5pm 11th October.

Are you passionate about protecting our environment and want to take positive action NOW?

The RSPB is hosting a very special event in Norwich that will both enlighten and challenge you.  A rare chance to see ‘Hard Rain’ by acclaimed environmental speaker and UN photographer Mark Edwards.  This emotive presentation includes the Hard Rain film  - a collection of powerful photographic images set to Bob Dylan’s famous anthem ‘A hard rain’s a-gonna fall’ – adopted at the Copenhagen climate summit

Opportunities to explore environmental issues with like-minded people and key influencers including Mark Edwards and Ian Rowland, The RSPB’s Tropical Forests Conservation Manager. One-to-one conversations may be available after the main presentation.

Practical information on how you can help nature and bio-diversity where you live.

The evening starts at 7pm with the Hard Rain presentation at 8pm. Tickets are £5 and can be booked in advance at www.ueaticketbookings.co.uk/events or by calling 01603 629921. All proceeds will be kindly donated to The RSPB.
