==Norwich Pride, Saturday July 31st==
 +
On Saturday 31st July we'll have the historic second Norwich Pride. The Mayor is coming and so is the Town Crier. The Norwich Samba Band will once again lead the Parade. The Forum will be brimming with stalls and buzzing from the intellectual debate in the lectures! Outside on Millennium Plain we've got huge, interactive dance demos in the morning including bhangra, latin american and line dancing; and Future Radio are going to do a live broadcast. The Pride Picnic is at Chapelfield Gardens from 12-2pm so bring a delicious lunch and relax and enjoy the entertainment on the bandstand. There will be activities for the kids, a poetry corner and performance artists around the park. The Pride Show on Millennium Plain starts at 3pm and is filled with the cream of local talent - lineup to be announced soon. There's an Arts Trail around the city; and in the evening there's parties planned in the Catherine Wheel, Castle and Coach and Horses as well as Flamenco Dancing at St Gregory's Church and LadyFest at the Arts Centre. And the rainbow bus is coming - see below....

The Rainbow Bus, the "biggest, gayest bus in the world" is coming to Norwich Pride! The Rainbow Bus is from Pink Punters Nightclub in Milton Keynes and will be on Millennium Plain outside the Forum on Saturday 31st July. The Rainbow Bus operates on a 'not for profit' basis with its primary role to promote and support national LGBT issues/events/campaigns and charities. Rainbow Operations are also kindly providing our stage and sounds system. Joe McMahon writes: " Although we have a great deal on (Prides, LGBT events and others) between now and then, we are really looking forward to Norwich."
