==May 1st, UEA International Women's Peace Service in Palestine==
Caroline Norton who is linked to The International Women's Peace Service will be coming to talk to the NEESA Project.
Caroline has visited  the Occupied Territories on the West Bank of the Jordan to support the Palestinians as they try to gather their olive harvest for the past two years with a Project called Zaytun. Caroline will talking about her experiences and showing some of the pictures that were taken during her visit. I have had a brief look at her presentation and it is well worth coming along to give support to people like her and to the Palestinians who are living in such terrible conditions.
The doors of NELSON COURT will be open from 5.30pm on Saturday 1st May and after the presentation we will share out supper.
There will be art activities and games available for the children
All women and children welcome

NORWICH PSC BRANCH ACTIONS THIS WEEK & IN MAY INCLUDING NAKBA  DAY

1. As a part of our B.I.G. Campaign we are targetting TESCO's largest Norwich Area store on the Ipswich Road between April 28 and May 1. Please open the attachment for further details. 2. We are leafletting in Central Norwich on May 1 from 10am-2pm. Please met at the end of the Walk opposite M&S. Please contact me or Peter on the above numbers for more information. If you can only spare 30 minutes it will be an enormous help.

3. Norwich Branch Chair, Keith Rowley, is being interviewed (30 minutes) on Norwich's local radio station, Future Radio, on the morning of May 4 on the theme of the Nakba.

4. On May 15 there will be a PSC stall in the Norwich Forum to draw attention to Nakba Day. We will be leafleting and, hopefully, offering refreshments. Volunteers and supporters please!

5. On May 27 Norwich PSC and Norwich & District Trades Council are jointly hosting a public meeting at the Friends' Meeting House at 7.30pm at which two Palestine General Federation of Trades Union officers will talk about the plight of Palestinian workers and their attitude to the B.I.G. Campaign. Everyone is welcome. Please circulate among your contacts as widely as possible.

Post election event to remind the new government that dealing with the climate crisis needs to be their top priority.
Light a candle for scientific realism and rationality against the dark, populist, tide of sceptic lies and ignorance.
Join others in a visible demonstration of conviction that we face a climate emergency, and determination to challenge the government in the future if it does not respond appropriately.Events through the night every hour on the hour.Bring candles, lanterns, artistic creations, music, peformances etc… To book a space in the schedule contact info@campaigncc.org.  Join us right outside the home of government if you can … if not, can you organise an overnight vigil in your locality, say outside the surgery of the newly elected MP, or wherever you feel most appropriate?
