Draft only, page under construction ==Gaza one year on Sat. 2nd January 2010, 11.30, outside the Forum== Rally to remember last years military attacks on Gaza. Speakers include Dr Ian Gibson. On 27th December 2009, the day of the Jewish Sabbath, Israeli armed forces commenced their merciless operation Cast Lead against the besieged people of Gaza. For the following 20 days they were relentlessly bombarded from land sea and air resulting in over 1,400 deaths including over 300 children and many women and over 5,000 wounded as well as inestimable damage to buildings and infrastructure which left almost nothing unscathed. To the shame of the world the siege has still not been lifted and Gaza is living on a knife edge unable to rebuild or function properly at even the most basic of levels. ==Saturday 9th Unwanted Christmas Presents Auction == At Green drinks on January 9th we’re having an un-wanted Christmas present auction.
