'John Rees, a national officer of Stop the War Coalition, presents a short
video history of imperialist intervention and local resistance, bringing the
story up to the present day, when America, Britain and their allies are
fighting yet another unwinnable war in Afghanistan'.
Followed by discussion with members of the NSTWC.

The UEA Philosophy Public Lectures will this year be devoted to "Matters of Life and Death". 
Philosopher Baroness '''Mary Warnock''', prolific writer and broadcaster, and former member of the House of Lords Select Committee on Euthanasia, and the Parliamentary Committee of Enquiry into Human Fertilisation and Embryology will speak on 'The Meaning of Life'.

Admission is free and all are welcome
