Anti war events can never be seen as "successful", i.e. wars carry on regardless. However moments of reflection in the midst of our normal day-to-day-ness are certainly not a bad thing. Moments of clarity need nurturing and art can help make that happen. The show entitled AMMUNITION appeals to a broad cross section with work from agitprop to cool; from fine art to cartoon. In short something for everyone, well anyone who hopes and believes that peace is somehow possible, no matter how difficult to find. St Margarets Centre for the Arts,St. Benedicts Street, NorwichNR2 4PF There will be a special evening event when all the artists will be present. Wine will be served. Private view.: 7th November from 6.00 pm The show includes photomontage artist Peter Kennard with prints fresh from his London exhibition; international Pop artist and patron of Norwich Fringe Festival Colin Self; a print from the Lebanon series by John Kiki; and dancer and vocalist Samia Malik whose work explores race, language, politics, roots and religion.
