The message is '''Never Again'''. Everyone within half a mile of the bombs was instantly vaporised by intense heat. All that was left was their shadows burnt into stone walls. see http://www.hastingsagainstwar.org/news.htm for good summary We mark the event by painting shadows on the pavement in gentleman's walk (with council permission) on the evening of August 5th - meet 8pm in car park of Friends' Meeting House.
