March 7th== Our friends at Transition Downham Market And Villages are kindly organising a get-together for transition groups across East Anglia. This will be an opportunity to share ideas and experiences about how to run Transition Initiatives as a whole but also particular theme groups or other aspects - whatever you want to discuss. The meeting will be in Downham Market on Saturday March 7th, from 9:30am till 4pm. If you'd like to go please drop a line to carolhunter@hotmail.com so she can keep track of numbers. Travel by car may be more practical than public transport, but obviously it would be great to share lifts. Do organise this with your friends in theme groups etc. Alternatively you might consider trying out www.liftshare.com, which is a tool for offering or asking for lifts to anywhere (I've just registered and it seems fairly straightforward!). ==Norfolk Hope not Hate Campaing meeting, Tue 10th March, 2 pm, Council Chamber== Invitation to a meeting to launch a Norfolk Hope not Hate group. Norfolk is being targeted by the British National Party (BNP) see: http://tiny.cc/mx7eQ who want to stir up hatred and violence on the basis of race, ethnicity and religion. It is important that all people of goodwill stand up and oppose the BNP. For more information on the Hope not Hate campaign: http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/ -------------- ==Norfolk Mental Health Alliance committee meeting, Tue, March 10th,3pm, Julian Hospital Room 8 at Town Close Clinic== Regular meeting, every 2nd Tuesday. ---------------- {{Norwich Scoop footer|}}
