Draft only, page under construction ==Peace Camp, Saturday 4th July 2009, Forum== The Peace Camp is an inter-active forum where people can meet, exchange ideas and information. Here people can find out about and consider joining any of the diverse but interconnected organisations which exist to promote peace, justice and better understanding. The Peace Camp invites people to bring and contribute their own viewpoints, ideas and suggestions, in a day-long event devoted to peace and better relations. We think in terms of an alternative independence day promoting peace, understanding, justice and genuine concern for others among other things, let us aim to make this 4th Norwich Peace Camp the best and most all embracing yet. Shan ==Norwich Pride 2009, Saturday 25th July 2009, Forum== The first free and open Norwich Pride will take place on 25th July 2009. The Forum has been booked on this day for stalls, speakers etc. – much of the detail still needs to be finalised. Norwich Pride is being coordinated by a collection of volunteers. Our vision is of a central, free, inclusive event in the centre of Norwich on the Saturday with a whole range of other activities and celebrations organised by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) and LGBT-friendly businesses and groups across Norwich all over the weekend - we've already got people signing up to run comedy, music events, tea parties, sport events, ballroom dancing and fly rainbow flags all over the city. We already have over 225 members in a Facebook group and the webpage is currently at http://www.norwichpride.moonfruit.co.uk but will soon be moving to http://www.norwichpride2009.co.uk You can also email the Pride collective at norwichpride@hotmail.co.uk or contact me directly. In order for this event to be a success, we are undertaking a survey to get views from the community about what kind of event people want. This can be printed, completed anonymously and returned in the post to the address at the end of the survey. {{Norwich Scoop footer|}}
