==Weds 7th, Norwich Socialist Talk, General Strike==
Norwich Socialist Group are delighted to let you know that we have Tim Knight Hughes, an expert historian with a passion for revolutionary ideas and action, coming to speak on "The General Strike 1926 and Today".
 
This will be an opportunity, one week after the biggest strike since 1926, for us to consider some of the implications of this new mass movement. What opportunities does it begin to open up for replacement of the failing capitalist system with rule by and for the 99%?
 
The meeting will be on Wednesday 7th December at 19.00 in the Vauxhall Centre, Johnson Pl,  Norwich, Norfolk NR2 2SA.

Description: To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International, Amnesty Groups around the world are organising 'Write for Rights' events on 10th December, Human Rights Day. We will hold letter-writing events on behalf of ten particular victims of human rights violations. People are invited to drop in and write a letter about one of the campaign appeal cases. 
If you are in Norwich on 10th December, do come along to the Playhouse on St George's Street and spend a few minutes supporting the event.

==UNA LunchBox' talk, Friday 16th December==
at 1pm in the Friends Meeting House, Upper Goat Lane, Norwich;
Anne Aves will talk about: "The John Aves Educational Project: Our learning journey from Norwich to Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee Camp in Bethlehem".
The talk will last about 30 minutes followed by questions.

If you’d like a stall, please contact Alison Oldfield on alisongoldfield@yahoo.co.uk or 01603-504220.  Stalls cost £20 for businesses, £15 for the general public, and £10 for charities/campaigning groups.  Stalls will be confirmed once advance payment is received.

Great stalls, music, food, great company.   A Christmas event not to miss.!                   Admission is £1, under-12s free.
