How much do we care about the suffering of the Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza? Should we ignore what is happening there, to “pass by on the other side”, as in the parable of the Good Samaritan? We used to know Palestine as the Holy land, where Jesus Christ ministered and died for us. It is also a country for which we were responsible under Mandate from the League of Nations until 1948. Please come and hear balanced responsible discussion by The Revd. Alan Ashton Co author of the report “Justice for Palestine and Israel” presented to the Methodist Conference July 2010. (The report can be read or downloaded at http://www.methodistconference.org.uk ) Bruce Kent Vice President of Pax Christi International Catholic Movement for Peace The Rt. Revd. David Gillett Honorary Assistant Bishop, Norwich Diocese Organised by Norwich Palestine Solidarity Campaign, http://www.norwichpsc.org.uk/ ------------ {{Norwich Scoop footer|}}
