How much do we care about the suffering of the Palestinians in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza? Should we ignore what is happening there, to “pass by on the other side”, as in the parable of the Good Samaritan? We used to know Palestine as the Holy land, where Jesus Christ ministered and died for us. It is also a country for which we were responsible under Mandate from the League of Nations until 1948.
